Yorkton Region Genealogy Web

  Yorkton Gen Web Region, is a part of Saskatchewan Gen Web. Resources,genealogical records, and internet connections are restored at https://sites.rootsweb.com/~skyorkto/Yorkton/.  Ancestry/Rootsweb.com did indeed fix and repair in September 2018,  an IT issue which occurred in December 2017.  The original hosted web site http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~skyorkton is indeed up and running.  Thank you for your patience

The Yorkton Gen Web Region would like to take this time to thank all those people who very kindly submitted of information, research and data to the Yorkton Gen Web Region.  There is an enormous amount of gratitude, as well towards the dedicated Yorkton Gen Web Volunteers who digitized public domain transcripts, and photographs.  Thank you to all the copyright holders who granted permissions for items to be digitized online as well.

The Yorkton Gen Web Region had moved forward during the crash with a mirror site here on a temporary internet host!   These webpages for the new Yorkton region Gen Web were still in their tender youth, but will continue to flourish and grow on the original pages as above.  The Yorkton GenWeb Project acts as a catalyst for researchers,  genealogists and historians aiding them in locating information through resource pages, FAQ, email, as well as to step forward with the addition of online data.  The slogan of Rootsweb is "Finding our Roots Together."
